CSU Writing Project: Young Writers Workshop
For elementary, middle school, and high school students. In these immersive workshops, students will experiment with writing techniques in various genres, work in writing groups, learn from published writers, and more!
Empowering YOUth
Empowering YOUth is a summer enrichment program allowing middle schoolers (ages 11-13) to explore the many facets of social work and the positive impact social workers make on their communities. Participants in this program will create their own advocacy projects, connect with awesome new friends, meet social workers in the community, and have a blast learning, creating, and growing.
Food Science and Human Nutrition Summer Cooking Camps
These camps feature fun cooking activities for children ages 8-10 and 11-12. Select a camp and then choose which week your camper would like to attend. Register for one or both weeks!
Kids Do It All: Summer Musical Theatre Camp
Kids Do It All is one of the most innovative theatre programs in the country. Offered for youth who are entering grades 2-3, 4-5, and 6-8. Camp participants write, design, and compose musical plays entirely of their own, experiencing a practical application of all aspects of theatre from acting, movement, voice, props and scene design, and songwriting. Eight one-week camps are available on the CSU campus.
Summer Master Classes, Camps, and Special Events
Experience a variety of music events designed for youth, middle/high school students, teachers, and adults. Camps and institutes offer specialized training. Master classes feature the world’s finest performers providing hands-on instruction in an open, informal setting.
CSU Dance Lab: Summer Programs
Dance Lab now offers mini sessions for dancers ages 7-13 with no prior dance training needed. Intermediate through preprofessional level dancers ages 14+ are invited to register for our two-week in-person intensive. CSU Dance Lab is a college preparatory summer program offering immersive study in classical and contemporary dance forms, repertory, theory, and composition.
