For elementary, middle school, and high school students. In these immersive workshops, students will experiment with writing techniques in various genres, work in writing groups, learn from published writers, and more!
Colorado State University invites Colorado PK-12 educators and administrators to join us in person for presentations, exploration, sharing resources, and expanding our awareness and knowledge of the benefits of movement in the classroom. Guest speakers, university faculty, and education specialists will present the latest research and tools to help you reach more students, offer innovative ways to teach core curriculum, and learn how our state supports our efforts.
Empowering YOUth allows middle schoolers to explore the many facets of social work and the positive impact social workers make on their communities. Participants in this program will create their own advocacy projects, connect with awesome new friends, meet social workers in the community, and have a blast learning, creating, and growing!
Offered primarily for ages 7-12, these camps are offered throughout the summer and fill quickly. The focus is on immersing participants in nature. Though each camp has a theme, all camps will include walking our trails, exploring our ecosystems off trail, playing near and in the river, building forts, and playing games.

GoGetMath@CSU is a free summer math program for high school students entering grades 10-12 in Fall 2026.
This event is a five-day, non-residential program held in the Department of Mathematics on the CSU Fort Collins campus. GoGetMath@CSU will explore mathematical topics such as cryptography, data science, image processing, fractals, and geometry through engaging hands-on activities and computer labs.
This program will not be offered in Summer 2026. It may return in Summer 2027.
IT in Business is a five-day summer program for high school students interested in learning more about technology’s impact on the business world and the role they can play in shaping its future. Students will explore technology used in business through exciting and educational hands-on activities like building an app, working with robots, playing cybersecurity games, experiencing Virtual Reality, AI, and more!
Kids Do It All is one of the most innovative theatre programs in the country. Offered for youth who are entering grades 2-3, 4-5, and 6-8. Camp participants write, design, and compose musical plays entirely of their own, experiencing a practical application of all aspects of theatre from acting, movement, voice, props and scene design, and songwriting. Eight one-week camps are available on the CSU campus.
The Lorenzo de Zavala (LDZ) Youth Legislative Session is the most recognized National Hispanic Institute (NHI) program. The intense, eight-day, model government session gives high-achieving, rising high school junior and senior students the opportunity to understand organizational culture, protocol, and procedures in order to become more effective community leaders, meet and collaborate with new friends, reflect on the issues of the day and practice leadership.
