Alliance Zoetis Veterinary Perspectives Institute

June 8 – 14, 2025
Applications due by March 1 for first consideration. Registration closes June 1, 2025.

The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is excited to offer a week-long residential summer program designed for high school students interested in careers in veterinary medicine. Students will interact with clinicians, college professors, and CSU student mentors as they explore the veterinary profession and One Health and earn one college credit by registering for the accompanying course.

Students will also experience hands-on learning in specimen dissection labs, virtual reality labs, and suture clinics, as well as tour the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital and interact with veterinarians and other One Health professionals. Students will engage in professional development, including career exploration, resume building, and other skills that can be used for any profession.

This experience includes insights about college life, the college application process, and financial aid. Six nights of on-campus lodging, meals, and tuition for the course are included.
