Empowering YOUth: Make a Difference in Your Community

June 16 – 18, 2025
9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Registration is open!

Empowering YOUth allows middle schoolers to explore the many facets of social work and the positive impact social workers make on their communities. Through activities rooted in social justice, participants will contribute to building an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and inclusive environment where people of all identities can learn, grow, and thrive.

Participants gain an understanding of the role of social workers and the various areas they work in, including sports social work, human-animal bond, school social work, and more. The program includes opportunities to learn directly from social workers with real-world experiences. Hands-on activities connect their growing passions, skills, and interests to future careers in social work.
