This program is open to students who have successfully completed 9th through 12th grades, from those starting their sophomore year to recent high school graduates. Students are planning to be a first-generation college student. You’re considered a first-generation student if you don’t have a parent or guardian with a bachelor’s degree.

During this weeklong summit, you will:
- Get a feel for how the College of Business supports first-generation students
- Explore campus and enjoy meals in the student dining halls.
- Get connected with a first-generation student mentor.
- Tour local companies and engage with business leaders.
- Participate in discussions and competitions that will open your mind to the opportunities a business degree can unlock for you.
Earn a College Credit: All First-Generation Business Summit attendees will earn 1 credit in financial literacy. This free summit can help you prepare for college with confidence, and start one credit closer to graduating!
